CADWORX for 2D [reposted from cadworxblog.com]

Generally all 3D modeling starts from a 2D Study Piping drawing. Is there a way to use CADWORX 3D to work as a 2D package as in DRAFTPRO? The symbols in CADWORX 3D does not permit use of 2D representation in full.

Antony,

You can work in 2D Single or 2D Double line in CADWorx 3D. Once completed, converting to a 3D Solid is a click of a button.

The command(s) are CONVERTDOUBLE or CONVERTSINGLE. Or if you are working with ribbons, they are located in CADWorx Plant I.
