Issue:
You would like to use ELECTROWorx with a networked shared content folder.
Causes:
Plant 3d does not register new custom scripts to the networked shared content folder. You will need to temporarily change the shared content folder back to the default location. ie C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 Content
Solution:
- Open Autodesk Spec Editor for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 as Administrator.
- Change the Shared Content folder to its default location.
- C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 Content
- Open AutoCAD Plant 3D and run PlantRegisterCustomScripts at the command line.
- Close Plant 3D.
- Copy the ELECTROWorx files from the default content folder to the networked Shared Content folder.
- Open Autodesk Spec Editor for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 as Administrator.
- Change the Shared Content folder to its networked location.
- Open AutoCAD Plant 3D and run PlantRegisterCustomScripts at the command line.
- Close Plant 3D.
- Open AutoCAD Plant 3D and test the ELECTROWorx specs.
