CAESAR II does not perform buckling calculations. The mechanics behind pipe stress analysis in CAESAR allow us to view code stress and displacements from the application of 3 dimensional beam elements, which are connected through a series of nodes to create a stress system. There are no shell elements in CAESAR that are analyzed for buckling analysis. The user may wish to use Euler's Buckling formula if they wanted to inspect buckling as a failure criteria.
