You can create custom end types based on any of the default end types. In your new end type you can disable bolt, gasket, and weld insertions as well as create a Stub-End/Lap End connections. One application would be creating Victaulic end types . 

Let's take a look at creating a Victaulic grooved end and a Victaulic clamp end



In the specification editor, Navigate down to the End Types and right-click Add Custom End Type to add the list. 

Fill out the data as shown below and select OK. We will base it on the BW end type since that is the closest default end type we can choose. We will however change its Isogen symbol to CL so Isogen does not draw it as a buttweld connection. We also want to Disable Weld Insertion since this is a clamped connection.

Next we will create the actual table. Since the table must be created using an End Type holder, it will abide by all of the rules set above, no welds, bolts, gaskets… To create the table right-click Add End Type Table Fill out the data as shown below and select OK. Please note the Isogen Symbol is filled out for you from the settings above.

Now fill out your table with the sizes you need. Below shows all sizes available in this catalog.

Victaulic Clamped End

In the specification editor, Navigate down to the End Types and right-click Add Custom End Type to add the list. 

Fill out the data as shown below and select OK. We will base it on the Socket Weld end type since that is the closest default end type we can choose. We will however change its Isogen symbol to CL so Isogen does not draw it as a socket weld connection. We also want to Disable Weld Insertion and Force End Type Length within Component Length since this is a clamped connection.

Next we will create the actual table. Now fill out your table with the sizes and dimensional data you need.

Now we need to work on the Specification side. Lets open our PRJ and Match End Types. Matching End Types allows CADWorx Plant to control which end types are safe to connect with the other end types. Select New, then add either of your new Victaulic end types to the Left and the other to the right and select OK

Now we can add these end types to new components. Lets create a clamped elbow.

First lets create some Victaulic Grooved Pipe to ensure we only get Victaulic fittings.

I copied our standard pipe and changed the End Type to Vic_Grooved

I copied a standard 90 LR BW Elbow in this example. I then changed the End Type to Vic_Grooved.

Now we create our coupling to go with it. I copied a Full SW Coupling and changed the End Type to ViCTAULIC-307.

Finally to insert this into our model. We launch CADWorx Plant Professional 2017 and make sure our Apply End Type Rule is set to Automatic.

 Then we can insert some pipe with those elbows and our clamps come in automatically.
