How do you use Material Tables [reposted From cadworxblog.com]

I have a group of Piping Specs to make with Spec Editor.

The specs are nearly identical.

The only difference being the BPE ID Surface Finish.

So I am thinking of using a different Material Table for

each spec with its Surface Finish.

Am I on the right track?

I am not expecting any replies as this is the only topic in this blog.

This is a good method.  ECE has develop the Hygienic catalog in this way and it works great.  Generally T316L is the Grade and then 20Ra ID/Mill OD is the Spec.  We’ve also added Custom Fields for Alpha Laval, BPE, SPX designation too.  This is working well too.
